Ding! You are now free to move about the country ... on foot. GSD&M Idea City Chairman-CEO Roy Spence has begun his Walk Across America, for which he plans to walk 22 miles a day, one month each year, over the next several years. The purpose of the walk, Spence says, is to "celebrate the goodness of America." For 2007, he has chosen to trek during the month of October, starting in Conway, N.H., and finishing up in Scranton, Pa. Spence is blogging about his travels at. Check out his walking playlist. Seems he's jamming to an eclectic set of tunes (Crosby Stills & Nash meets Kanye West) along the way.

Roy Spence is and always has been, a visionary. He would never attempt such an effort if he didn't believe it would change the way people think, as he goes from one 22 mile trek to another. Roy was an athlete
at University of Texas, and he is more than
ready for this!! He never stopped playing
quarterback...in his life, with his faith, and
for his company. "Attaboy Roy"... we applaud you! Shari Greer
