In January, Apple Computer boasted in a Super Bowl spot that its standard-issue iMac is immune to the Y2K bug. The millenium hype increased with the countdown to 2000 as marketers exploited the new century. Kids can spell 2000 at every meal since Campbell Soup Co. added "2"-shaped pasta to its Franco-American SpaghettiOs, and cereal makers Kellogg Co. and General Mills added the numeral to Froot Loops and Cheerios Millennios. As for dessert -- M&Ms, of course.
