Is there anything more boring than James Bond movies since the early days of Sean Connery? Yes: British James Bond movie posters from any period, which, thanks to a fascinating new book, appear to be running dead last in the international Bond poster sweepstakes. James Bond Movie Posters: The Official 007 Collection, by Tony Nourmand, from Chronicle Books (Chroniclebooks.com), runs through all the movies in chronological order and offers a plethora of posters from around the world, including unused artwork, early drafts and alternate versions. Maybe it's the exotic kitsch factor, but Asia rules in this $29.95 oversized paperback. Seen here is a busy Japanese take on the notoriously leggy image that was created by designer Bill Gold, for 1981's For Your Eyes Only.
