Ground Zero creative honcho Court Crandall, who - surprise! - has a sideline as a screenwriter, has ascended to the big screen with Old School, the latest Animal House-inspired comedy, on which he boasts a story credit. Directed and co-written by Todd Phillips, who also helmed Ground Zero spots for ESPN and Virgin Cola, the film stars Luke Wilson, Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn as thirtysomething men who form an unofficial fraternity in the hopes of reliving their bacchanalian college days. Crandall, a University of New Hampshire grad, says he owes the story partly to his membership in Phi Kappa Theta. "I still share e-mails with my fraternity brothers and I thought the idea would be a funny way of trying to reclaim your lost youth."
