Production Index

By Jh Published on .

The Creativity Production Index - the average number of spots produced by a sample of agency offices - rose slightly in September, just outpacing a year ago, when business as usual was interrupted by the terror attacks. Judging from this year, September 11 may now be the new Labor Day, the day after which clients will begin greenlighting shoots for the holiday push. Good news does come from the Los Angeles Film Office, however, which clocked September as the third-busiest production month of the year - in L.A. at least - following February and January.
