Biz Book Retailer 800-CEO-READ to Release Its '100 Best'

Gladwell, Godin and Dr. Seuss' Tomes Among the Honored

Jack Covert and Todd Sattersten are gaga for business books. The founder and president, respectively, of 800-CEO-READ spend their days reviewing the best and sloughing through the worst on the company website -- heck, they even hand out awards dedicated to the darn things. (Although three of Ad Age's picks from 2007 -- "Made to Stick," "Grande Expectations" and "The Dip" -- made their annual "Best of" shortlist, so really, who are we to criticize?) Our ears perked upon hearing the guys will release their first book of faves in February, appropriately titled "The 100 Best Business Books of All Time."

The authors' methodology for deciding who made the cut is simple: Texts should be accessible (no jargon), applicable (no outdated theories or practices) and present a sound business idea. Bookstore's selection process is similarly organized, if we may say so, which is why this list gets our stamp of recommendation. Check in with Jack and Todd's daily blog as they count down to the book's release.
