As we approach the one-year anniversary of President Barack Obama's election into office, it's hard to forget the endless array of TV, radio, internet and social-media campaigns that catapulted him to popularity. In reminiscing, I couldn't help but wonder whatever happened to the president's dream-team of marketing experts. Where were they know? Fortunately, I didn't have to wonder very long.
It appears that the ad crew has moved north and is now helping Tony and Karen Theisen make a run for ... um ... career sales? I'll say this; it's nice to see that Team Obama is willing to "reach across the aisle" and help those in red. I guess when it comes down to it, green is always the color that wins.
As for the campaign? I not only get it, I love it! The rifle toting, NRA card-carrying, Palin look-a-like is both frightening and sexy. The much younger looking McCain impersonator is in true maverick form. Although Tony stole the show with the personalized phone number, Karen's message of change is what won me over. Yeah, she might be missing a period, but so what. That's what makes her Palin impersonation so believable. Bravo red team!
I'm packing my bag and heading to the Theisen HQ to pick up my pamphlets and yard signs. I'll be canvassing the streets by tonight.
