I recently made my first trip to a Wegmans grocery store. It was in Lancaster, N.Y., just outside of Buffalo. As a city-dweller who can barely tolerate the sorry excuses for grocery stores -- seriously, I now do my shopping at CVS to preserve my sanity -- the highway-sized aisles of Wegmans made me want to weep with joy. Apparently Alec Baldwin feels the same way as he's now starring in two spots for the Rochester-based grocery chain near and dear to his mother's heart.
There's another spot as well. In neither one does he berate employees or laugh like a maniac.
