We all know the drill. Peta does something outlandish and gets buckets of free media from the coverage. Not content with naked models or Holocaust-themed ad imagery, the animal-rights group saw Black History Month as the perfect time to file a lawsuit on behalf of killer whales, claiming that Sea World was holding them as slaves.
So "The Daily Show's" Wyatt Cenac, with the help of civil-rights activist Elaine Browne and his own lawyer, gave Peta some exposure. And by that I mean exposing the group's tactics for the cynical, insulting and even hypocritical publicity stunts that they are.
