Auto blog Jalopnik got a sneak peak of Bill Vlasik's Once Upon a Car: The Fall and Resurrection of America's Big Three Auto Makers and have found at least a couple of colorful quotes from Ford's head marketer, Jim Farley. Here is a passage in which the polite talk of embattled U.S. automakers struggling together is put aside in favor for speech of a more competitive nature.
"I'm going to beat Chevrolet on the head with a bat," he said with a slightly wicked smile. "And I'm going to enjoy it."
