Guess Who Was Responsible for Racist Super Bowl Ads

By Published on .

Wired reports that Vinod Gupta, chairman-CEO of InfoUSA, was responsible for that Sales Genie spot featuring the Indian fellow with the rather large family. Go figure. I wonder if he was responsible for that slightly more racist ad featuring the Chinese pandas. I hadn't heard an accent like that since "Ancient Chinese Secret!" days.

But for me, the most racist ad -- and keep in mind I'm not exactly the PC type -- was that excrement-filled spot from LatinWorks for Bud Light. Granted, I can't tell if it was racist or simply just chock-full of lazy and stupid cliches. Then again, what can be expected from a spot starring Carlos "the joke thief" Mencia.
