Are JetBlue and Mullen Insane?

Marketing Effort Cuts off Jets-Patriots Game in a New York Bar

By Published on .

As part of a marketing effort designed to highlight the frustration caused by other airlines, Jet Blue and agency Mullen have set out to cause some frustration in the every-day lives of consumers. The results are taped and then spread on the web. Here's one such effort in which JetBlue, the official airline of the New York Jets represented by a Boston-based shop, went into an West Village bar on Sept. 19 and shut off the game between the Jets and hated rivals the New England Patriots. I don't know what's more surprising about this, that the Jets won that game (and are tied with the Pats for first in the AFC East) or that the bartender wasn't dragged out into the street and beaten to death.
