Legless Cigarette Guy Still Puffing Away

I used to smoke. A pack of day. Filthy habit. Expensive, too--and not just in the monetary sense. If you've seen any of the anti-smoking spots in the NYC area, you'll know smoking can cost you your vocal chords, your feet--even your leg.

The star of one of these spots, though, still has a pack-and-a-half-a-day habit: "He's the poster boy for the state's new anti-smoking campaign. But 48-year-old Skip Legault is still smoking — despite an amputated leg, two heart attacks and a stroke. The state Department of Health confirmed Friday that they chose a smoker for the ads, saying it helps underscore the risks associated with nicotine addiction."
