Mag Publishers Miss the Clue Train

I'm a week behind on this post by Todd Copilevitz, but it's worth reading anyway. He wonders if you have what it takes to be a magazine publisher, but doubts you even before you pick up your No. 2 pencil.

"So what do you do to reach college students? Put your content on the web? No, no, no. You make kids download software so they can read pictures of your magazine. See why you aren't getting paid the big bucks?"

It's a pity when someone like Todd expects good sense from business people. He's just setting himself up for disappointment.
