McGarryBowen Boasts About Adding Droga5 as Newest Client
The Holiday Hijinks Continue
Two days ago, Droga5 gave the ad business a much-needed dose of lighthearted fun when it sent us a hoax press release announcing it had hired McGarryBowen to handle its greeting-card account. It was the shop's tongue-in-cheek way of acknowledging McGarryBowen's recent tear on the new-business circuit, and now McGarryBowen is returning the favor.
At its New York headquarters, a new sign has gone up proudly touting Droga5 among its list of clients, adding the agency's logo smack dab next to those of some of its blue-chip marketer clients such as Kraft Foods, JPMorgan Chase, Chevron and AB-InBev. Seems like everyone is a comedian these days.
