In case you haven't already read about it, you should probably know the logo for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London has been sending people into fits of all kinds.

The flashing logo dropped at least 17 people in epileptic seizures and officials say: Oops, we thought that might happen. Per the UK's Daily Mail:

Experts said the garish launch film had led to a number of seizures with others reporting feeling "uncomfortable" after experiencing vomiting or headaches. Meanwhile, a spontaneous public revolt over the controversial logo broke has seen nearly 35,000 people signed a petition demanding that the £400,000 image be axed.

For the currency-challenged, that's at least $800,000 down the drain. I guess this means the strobe lights for opening ceremonies are out.
