Here's a lesson for marketers using really targeted campaigns: Be very careful ... and thorough ... when working out the deals of the media placement.

Virgin Mobile just unleashed a raft of outdoor ads, from McKinney, aimed at New York neighborhoods.But according to Radar, ads meant to praise the West Side were put up on the East Side. The problem? The ads make fun of East Siders. Oops. A Virgin spokeswoman told Radar the mix-up was the fault of the company that mounted the ads.
