American Legacy Foundation Emits the Smell of Truth

American Legacy Foundation "Truth Cow"
Not quite silent, but just as deadly. That's the assessment of cow farts as compared to cigarette smoke, a connection neatly illustrated in the American Legacy Foundation's new banner ad for the "Truth" anti-smoking campaign. The fact that cigarettes and gassy bovines both emit unhealthy amounts of methane gas was first demonstrated in the TV spot "Cow," which featured Marlboro Men riding a herd of cows down Wall Street. Agencies Arnold Worldwide and Crispin Porter + Bogusky plucked one of those cows, animated it and stuck it on roller-skates, resulting in a fart-filled banner that directs visitors to the campaign's website at thetruth.com.
