On Tuesday, agency 72andSunny launched an interactive campaign for Musicmatch's digital music player, promoting their Jukebox 9.0 and On Demand music subscription service. The campaign targets music lovers in their dwelling places -- on the radio and online -- with banner ads, radio spots and e-mail marketing. Designed to speak to music downloaders from a fan's perspective instead of a techie one, the sassy and simple banner ads cut through internet jargon to embody the rock and roll spirit, with tags such as "It takes a Slipknot fan to know one" and "You and what seven-nation army?" Meanwhile, radio spots spoof stadium rock concert commercials, calling the On Demand service "The greatest concert of all time."
