Movie-making magic now fits in the palm of your hand, thanks to Nokia's new N93 mobile video device. Part phone, part digital movie camera and part editing machine, the N93 allows anyone to capture the cinematic moments of everyday life and then edit them into flawless filmed masterpieces. And to get aspiring filmmakers to do just that, Nokia and R/GA have launched the Nokia Nseries Studio, an online community where mobile movies can be uploaded, viewed and shared. Actor/director Gary Oldman is lending his name and filmmaking skills to the initial launch, joining nearly 30 other A-list directors and photographers tasked with shooting their own short films using the N93, all inspired by the theme "Open Your Eyes." The films will be available for download at the online studio, which will be opened to the general public starting this summer—giving the directors of tomorrow the chance to share screen space with the visionaries of today.
