Nokia Rings Up Real Customers
Published on .
Who better to tout the everyday uses of Nokia's cell phones than the real people who live their lives through them? That's the philosophy behind the mobile giant's "It's Your Life In There" website, which expands on the television campaign with additional spots made especially for the internet. Directed by Rob Bindler of Nonfiction Spots, each quirky spot features an actual Nokia owner describing a feature of the phone—the Dukes of Hazzard ring tone, the storage space for digital pictures of a beloved dog, the ability to record sudden flashes of musical inspiration—that's become an integral part of their life. In addition to the ever-growing library of spots (including the original TV spots and the made-for-web releases), the site encourages visitors to get personal by submitting their own life-in-phone stories.
