PlayStation Recruits Gamers to Infiltrate Syphon Filter
Published on .
If you've ever uttered the words, "I want to be a deadly, ass-kicking precision strike operative when I grow up," then this game—and its website—is for you. Created by Los Angeles-based interactive agency Zugara to promote the PSP action title Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror, the microsite uncovers everything you need to know about the game's characters, weapons and locations. It also allows you to step into the sprawling espionage storyline yourself, challenging you to take on a series of interactive missions to uncover vital information that can be used to unlock new areas of the site. The first mission involves searching the homepage of the fictional KemSynth corporation, which leads to a series of emails being sent directly to your actual inbox.
