Satisfaction...or overcompensation? Just one of several alternatives to choose from at AfterTheKiss.com, the final web destination of the journey that began with a preview of the new Snickers spot at SnickersSatisfies.com and continued with the airing of the full spot during Super Bowl XLI. Three alternate versions of the on-air ode to man-love are available on the website, along with candid reactions from select Bears and Colts who got a chance to preview the spot prior to the Big Game. Nothing like watching manly, slightly homophobic football players squirm at the sight of two dudes smooching... UPDATE: That sight is now a memory, as the spot and the website have both been pulled in response to complaints from the Human Rights Campaign and the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. Both organizations argue that the campaign was homophobic insulting and promoted a culture of intolerance. Snickers insists that it was meant to be funny. The controversy rages on.
