World Trade Center Memorial Foundation Builds Hope and Support
Published on .
As we all pause to commemorate the tragedy and heroism of September 11, 2001 on the fifth anniversary of that fateful day, the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation is renewing its commitment to raising support for the construction of the WTC Memorial and Memorial Museum at Ground Zero. To help the foundation achieve this goal, Agency.com has created an online memorial in the form of an American flag bearing the virtual signatures of people from around the country and around the world. Those who wish to add their names to the community can find the virtual flag at the campaign's microsite or within dynamic ad units throughout the web. After personalizing the font and style of their signatures, visitors can proceed to BuildTheMemorial.org, where they can make a donation and learn more about the Memorial effort. In addition, Agency.com created a series of banner ads in support of a new television, radio, print and outdoor campaign from TBWA\Chiat\Day, featuring poignant personal memorials to 9/11.
