The potent team of Wieden and director Frank Budgen delivered this verite gem with the help of a handful of real soccer match cameramen, several hundred extras and a brave naked Brit. The ad began airing during the NFL playoffs last January and the agency reportedly originally conceived the spot as taking place during an American football game. Thank the ad gods they switched to soccer (because Brits are more likely to streak, apparently). Otherwise, we never would have heard the gem: "I do hope he's not headed for the royal box."
