One might imagine that after watching the gridiron avenger known as "Terrible" Terry Tate topple office slackers at Felcher & Sons, Dilberts all over the country were thinking twice about viewing online porn or making off with that office stapler. But in reality, they probably just spent precious work time trying to download the commercial, which turned out to be an audience fave at the 2003 SuperBowl and Adcritic.com's most watched spot of the year. Directed and edited with impeccable comedic timing, the spot morphed from a 1999 short conceived by its director Rawson Thurber. It succeeded in bringing Reebok out of the non-descript dungeon, at least for a while, and in making another strong case for the content-to-commercial crossover.
