The Cannes Q&A Bob Moore Chief Creative Officer Publicis USA

Published on .

How is your new role (Chief Creative Officer Publicis USA) treating you?

It's been interesting. There are a lot of cool things going on in the agency and one of my main roles is creating more open channel of communications between offices.

Any news on the staffing front?

We are putting a new team in place that will run big portions of business out of the New York office. Rob Rich, who has been at Publicis Seattle as a long time art director will take my role as ECD of the office.

Are you Cannes regular? How has it changed?

I've been coming since '94 or ''95 . With the Titanium Lion that Wieden started, it's been great; it's been somewhat more serious in that it's getting away from just film and press and outdoor and become more idea based.

Does a Lion mean anything to clients?

Oh, yes. The work has to work in the marketplace but it's also important to be creatively recognized.

Trunks or speedos?

Speedo. I'm a swimmer.
