Agency Digs Stops by Allen & Gerritsen

See the Offices of the Top-Ranked Best Places to Work Shop

After checking out Red Tettemer & Partners' quirky space in Philadelphia, Agency Digs took a trip up to Watertown (just outside of Boston) to visit the No. 1 agency on our annual Best Places to Work list, Allen & Gerritsen.

This agency's space -- besides fostering some of the most satisfied employees in the business -- also has its roots in national history. It's built into the renovated Arsenal on the Charles complex, which was where many of the U.S. Navy's cannons were produced in the early 19th century. The 377,000-square foot building that houses A&G (known historically as Artillery Hall) was home to weaponry that was used in both World Wars.

A&G's Joel Idelson explains how the building has gone from an arsenal of weaponry to an arsenal of creativity (yeah, he knows that was corny) and shows us around the shop's comfy digs. He even makes a big announcement. Check out his Agency Digs tour below.
