Incumbent Cossette Post Still in Running

By Published on .

WASHINGTON (AdAge.com) -- The Internal Revenue Service, which in August asked agencies to submit qualifications for its $16 million-a-year ad contract, identified 17 agencies and four public relations agencies as "viable competitors."

Incumbent Cossette Post, New York, was among those listed.

By law the IRS must rebid the contract every few years. The IRS is expected to post a formal request for bidding proposals as soon as this week for the account.
