NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- A&E Network, New York, has awarded its creative advertising account to Omnicom Group's TBWA/Chiat/Day, New York, people close to the review confirmed.

Neither the agency nor A&E would comment.

Billings were not disclosed, but A&E -- a joint venture of the Hearst Corp., Walt Disney Co.'s ABC and General Electric Corp.'s NBC -- spent almost $16 million in measured media last year, according to Taylor Nelson Sofres' CMR.
