Incumbent Y&R Is Cut From Review

By Published on .

DETROIT (AdAge.com) -- Ford Motor Co.'s Jaguar Cars said it has a shortlist of six agencies that will pitch for the automaker's global creative and marketing services account.

The account's incumbent, WPP Group's Young & Rubicam, did not make the cut.

The six contenders for the estimated $150 million creative and online account are: Havas' Euro RSCG; WPP's JWT and Berlin Cameron/Red Cell; Kirschenbaum, Bond and Partners, in which MDC Partners holds a stake; Leagas Delaney; and M&C Saatchi.

Bibiana Boeria, managing director of Jaguar in the U.K., said: "These agencies will be making their presentations against a specific brief with a view to a final selection being made by the end of March."

The automaker hired two consultants to handle the global review, Agency Assessments International in London and Roth Associates in New York.
