BOSTON (AdAge.com) -- Brown-Forman Corp., Louisville, Ky., and Miller Brewing Co. have selected Arnold Worldwide, St. Louis, to handle marketing for their joint malt beverage venture based on Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, the agency said.

its three other spirits partners in its "malternative" business. Arnold, part of Havas Advertising, handles Jack Daniel's.

The three other shops handling Miller's malt brands are Lambesis, Carlsbad, Calif., for Skyy Blue with Campari Group's Skyy Spirits LLC; Interpublic Group of Cos.' dRush, New York, for Sauza Diablo with Allied Domecq Spirits; and Omnicom Group's BBDO Worldwide, Chicago, for Stoli Citrona, also with Allied Domecq.

The new beverage has yet to be named.

Neither Arnold nor Brown-Forman returned calls seeking comment by press time.

A spokeswoman for Miller, a unit of Philip Morris Cos., was not aware of any account decisions.
