Billings were not disclosed, but the Northeastern retailer received $5.5 million in measured media last year, according to TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.
Pile & Co. is handling the review. An agency will be selected in early April.
Clarke Goward, the Boston independent, had handled Bob's. It is not participating in the review.
Last month, Hill Holliday landed Bob's media planning and buying account without a review, giving the shop the media accounts for all TJX brands. It also handles creative for TJX's Marshalls, a discount department store chain. Agencies doing creative for other TJX brands include Interpublic's Mullen for T.J. Maxx and sibling Gotham for HomeGoods, a home furnishings retailer.
