Sea World in March awarded the creative assignment on the estimated $15 million account to the Interpublic Group of Cos. agency, following a review that included Omnicom Group's DDB Worldwide, Chicago.
Runner-up DDB will handle
DDB is an Anheuser-Busch roster shop, handling Busch Entertainment Corp.'s Busch Gardens and two other water parks and the brewer's Budweiser account.
A spokesman for Campbell-Ewald said the agency and Busch Entertainment explored "strategic and creative options" but "fundamental differences" existed in their approaches.
Busch Entertainment did not return calls for comment.
