Online Job Board Prepares for Chicago Move

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- CareerBuilder has hired Cramer-Krasselt, Chicago, to handle its advertising, a spokesman for the online recruiting company said.

Independent Cramer-Krasselt beat out MARC USA, Chicago, Bernstein-Rein and Barkely Evergreen & Partners, both Kansas City, Mo., in the final round of pitches.

Interpublic Group of Cos.' Martin Agency was the incumbent. Martin declined to participate in the new review.

CareerBuilder is moving its headquarters from Reston, Va., to Chicago and sought a Midwest agency. The online job board and recruit service (www.careerbuilder.com) is jointly owned by publishers Tribune Co. and Knight Ridder.
