CELLULAR SOUTH NAMES CONTENDERS IN REVIEW

Six Agencies Vie for $12 Million Account

SAN FRANCISCO (AdAge.com) -- Cellular South, a privately held wireless network in five states, has named a shortlist of agencies in the review for its $8 million to $12 million creative and media advertising account, according to the search consultant.

Mullen, Winston Salem, N.C.; independent WestWayne, Atlanta; MDC Group's Crispin Porter & Bogusky, Miami; and independent Archer Malmo, Memphis, Tenn., which has been working with the carrier on a project basis.

Select Resources International, West Hollywood, Calif., is the search consultant.

The list is expected to be narrowed to four finalists. A decision is expected by early February.
