BOSTON (AdAge.com) -- Charter Communications Cable TV Network, St. Louis, is set to name Cramer-Krasselt, Chicago, to handle its account, according to an executive close to the review.

Bedford Group, Atlanta, was the consultant.

The broadband communications company decided against the incumbent Havas Advertising's Arnold Worldwide Partners, St. Louis, as well as Omnicom Group's TBWA/Chiat/Day, New York, and Richards Group, Dallas.

The account had been handled by Simmons Durham for seven years. Arnold acquired the account in February and broke a multimillion-dollar spot campaign this month with actor Dan Akroyd.

Last year, the company spent $3.7 million on measured media, according to Taylor Nelson Sofres's CMR.
