Roster Shops Competing for Consolidated Media, Creative Account

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- ChevronTexaco Corp. said it is in final negotiations with agencies competing to handle a consolidated global creative and media account estimated at $100 million.

Competing are Chevron roster shops WPP Group's Y&R Advertising, San Francisco; Omnicom Group's BBDO Worldwide, Houston; and multiple offices of Interpublic Groups of Cos.' McCann-Erickson Worldwide and Cordiant Communications Group's Bates Worldwide.
