By Published on .

CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- The Chicago Tribune hired advertising agency consultant Jones Lundin Beals to find an agency for the newspaper company's advertising account, according to executives close to the situation.

$10 million
The newspaper's ad account is estimated to be worth between $8 million to $10 million.

The move follows the company's Jan. 31 split with its former agency of eight years, Marc USA of Chicago.

Chicago agencies
Jones Lundin is currently sending requests for information to Chicago ad agencies with strong strategic and branding capabilities.

Jones Lundin declined to comment. The Tribune didn't immediately return calls.
