JWT/Tonic, Grey and TBWA to Give Presentations in May

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Internet networking company Cisco Systems has narrowed its agency search to three finalists, an executive confirmed.

The agencies moving on are San Francisco shops WPP Group's J. Walter Thompson/Tonic and Grey Global Group's Grey Worldwide, and Omnicom Group's TBWA/Chiat/ Day, Playa del Rey, Calif.

Jere King, vice president of worldwide marketing communications for Cisco, declined to confirm the original list.

Cisco's 10-year incumbent, Interpublic's Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, San Francisco, is not participating in the review.

Ms. King said the finalists will receive a briefing for a creative assignment and that final presentations will take place in early- to mid-May, though the process could extend into June.
