DETROIT (AdAge.com) -- Midas International Corp., Chicago, awarded its estimated $50 million creative account to Cliff Freeman
& Partners, New York, after a three-month review.
Cliff Freeman's first work for Midas will break in the first quarter of 2002.
The agency bested Interpublic Group of Cos.' Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, Boston; Square One, Dallas; and Bcom Group's team of Moroch & Associates, Dallas, and Kaplan Thaler Group, New York.
Carat USA continues to plan and buy media. WPP Group's Ogilvy & Mather, Toronto, continues to handle creative and media for Midas in Canada.
