Three Vie for $20 Million Retail Gas Account

DETROIT (AdAge.com) -- ConocoPhillips is expected to name an agency of record this week for its estimated $20 million consolidated retail gas account, executives close to the matter said.

Three agencies, which handled parts of the two brands' business, pitched for the account.

The finalists are: Interpublic Group of Cos.' Campbell-Ewald, Warren, Mich., the incumbent on Conoco; Interpublic's Dailey & Associates, West Hollywood, Calif., the incumbent on Phillips; and Fogarty, Klein, Houston.
