TBWA, Goodby Among Shops Pitching for $50 Million Account

NEW YORK ( -- Deloitte Consulting has narrowed its ad agency review for its estimated $50 million account, according to executives close to the situation.

The shops pitching for the work are Omnicom Group agencies TBWA/Chiat/Day, Playa del Rey, Calif., and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco; Doremus, New York and San Francisco; and WPP Group's Cole & Weber, Seattle.

The assignment includes a brand campaign to promote Deloitte's new identity after the management consulting firm separates from accounting firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu later this year.

Deloitte announced Monday it had hired Omnicom Group's Interbrand to handle marketing strategy for the split.

Deloitte management could not be reached at press time.
