DOREMUS TO GET AUTODESK SOFTWARE AD ACCOUNT

SAN FRANCISCO (AdAge.com) -- Software marketer Autodesk, in San Rafael, Calif., is expected to name Doremus, San Francisco, as its global creative and media agency, executives familiar with the decision said.

Complicating the decision, however, is the resignation earlier this year of Cathy Fox, Autodesk's vice president of worldwide marketing.

Spending was not disclosed, but was believed to be less than $1 million. Jackie Walts, an independent consultant based in Oakland, Calif., handled the review.

Doremus said it had no comment. Neither the marketer nor the consultant returned calls seeking comment.
