ELECTROLUX PICKS LOWE AS ITS GLOBAL AGENCY

Account Estimated at $50 Million

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Swedish home appliance giant Electrolux chose Lowe & Partners Worldwide, through Lowe's London, Stockholm and New York offices, for its estimated $50 million global account, after a review, people familiar with the situation said.

Neither Lowe, an Interpublic Group of Cos. agency, nor Electrolux would confirm the appointment until a contract is signed.

Electrolux until now has put most of its marketing dollars behind sub-brands with their own local ad agencies. Grey Global Group's Grey Worldwide previously handled the Electrolux vacuum cleaner business.
