Will Promote Ontario as Major Vacation Destination

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- The Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corp. is moving a $16.4 million promotional account to Interpublic Group of Cos.' Foote Cone & Belding Worldwide, Toronto, next month, according to the agency.

The work involves the promotion of Ontario as a major vacation destination to audiences in Canada and key countries around the world.

Previously, the domestic Canadian business was handled by Axmith McIntyre Wicht, Toronto, and the international portion by Omnicom Group's BBDO Worldwide.

The marketer is funded jointly by Canada's Ontario government and the tourism industry.
