DETROIT (AdAge.com) -- Interpublic Group of Cos.' FCB West, San Francisco and Irvine, Calif., dropped out of Hyundai Motor America's $160 million U.S. creative review.
FCB West couldn't be reached for comment by press time.
That leaves four
contenders: incumbent Cordiant Communications Group's Bates USA West, Irvine; Publicis Groupe's Publicis West
, Seattle, and Publicis & Hal Riney
, San Francisco; and independent Richards Group, Dallas.
Hyundai, Fountain Valley, Calif., has said the winner will be picked by the end of April. Select Resources International, West Hollywood, Calif., is the consultant.
Interpublic is a major global agency of General Motors Corp.
