Campaign Would Hype New 'Counterfeit Proof' Bills

WASHINGTON (AdAge.com) -- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing said it would seek bids on a worldwide "education and awareness" campaign lasting up to five years to publicize the upcoming redesign of U.S. money to make it more counterfeit proof.

The campaign could include public service ads or paid ads in addition to public relations, but the agency put no dollar amount on the contract, saying only that a pre-solicitation conference would be held Dec. 19.
