GREY HEALTHCARE WINS ARTHRITIS DRUG ACCOUNT

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Grey Healthcare Group, a partner company of Grey Global Group, has won the global and U.S. professional advertising account of Celebrex, a drug used to treat arthritis.

Celebrex, also known as celecoxib, is co-marketed by Pharmacia Corp., Peapack, N.J., and Pfizer Inc., New York.

According to Taylor Nelson Sofres' CMR, Pharmacia spent $80 million in 2000 on advertising.

Omnicom Group's Lyons Lavey Nickel Swift, New York, previously handled the account.
