Grey has elevated Michael Houston to global president after serving as CEO of North America since 2013.
In the new position, Mr. Houston will report to James R. Heekin III, chairman-CEO of Grey Group. Mr. Houston will continue managing North America while also collaborating with Mr. Heekin to oversee Grey's operations in EMEA, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
Mr. Houston, who has been at Grey since 2007, served as chief operating officer of the agency's New York office prior to his most recent role. During his tenure as North America CEO, Grey brought on a number of new accounts, such as Gillette, Volvo, Hasbro, Papa John's, Kellogg's and Marriott.
The shop was also Ad Age's 2014 Agency of the Year.
